After moving from Minnesota to North Carolina, she rapidly advanced to the NC Courage ECNL Academy by her junior year of high school. Over the course of seven years in North Carolina, she honed her skills at the club level before taking her talents to the collegiate arena, playing for both Old Dominion University and the University of Illinois.

 

During her time at Old Dominion University, Coach Nessa celebrated remarkable success, winning three conference championships and competing for three NCAA national titles. After her third season, she made the bold decision to transfer to the University of Illinois to further pursue her dream and reach her fullest potential.

 

Following the conclusion of her collegiate career, Coach Nessa shifted her focus to another aspiration: becoming a doctor. Despite applying to medical school, she remains deeply committed to the sport of soccer. With a desire to inspire and mentor young players, Coach Nessa aims to help them chase their dreams, unlock their potential, and cultivate a lifelong love for the game.
